The Woolcock Institute of Medical Research maintains a close association with the Sleep Disorders Unit at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. The technicians and senior sleep staff who work with the Sleep Medicine Clinical Trials Group have many years of practical experience in the operation of clinical trials, and the use of investigative methodologies relating to Sleep and Circadian biology. Clinical Trials Administration
Our dedicated Clinical Trials administration staff are responsible for the day-to-day management and conduct of clinical trials. Specific capabilities of the Team include (but are not limited to) the following:
Analysis of feasibility, including cost and time estimates
Project planning and management
Protocol and Informed Consent development
Subject Recruitment (healthy and patient subjects)
Advertising
Randomisation and blinding of subjects
Preparation, submission and amendment of Ethics applications
