The current research programme of the Sleep and Circadian Group is extensive and diverse, reflecting the broad range of experience, expertise and research interests of the group. Over the past several years the group has expanded its focus considerably, with the formation of several distinct special interest subgroups. We now have robust programmes dedicated to the following aspects of Sleep and Circadian Physiology;
Neurobiology
Respiratory Failure
Cardiovascular and Metabolic
Upper Airway Structure and Function
In addition, we have established a technology group committed to identifying novel inventions and concepts and collaborating with potential industrial development partners for commercialisation opportunities. We also have an expanding clinical trials capacity to underpin investigator-driven and sponsored work in this area.
